GEM3

Geophysical Modeling and Multiscale Methods

About

The GEM3 project aims to develop, analyze, and implement parallel and machine learning–based strategies for innovative multiscale finite element methods. These methods target linear and nonlinear elliptic and parabolic partial differential equations arising from applications in surface and subsurface geophysics. This three-year international collaboration brings together the GALETS research team from Inria (France) and the IPES research team from LNCC (Brazil).
